The Greatest Save Celebrity Golf Experience
As a passionate consumer advocate, personal injury Attorney Timothy J. Ryan believes strongly in giving back to the community. Mr. Ryan sponsors a minimum of 15 charity events per year. He is currently a chairman on the Board of Trustees of Huntington Beach Hospital and Board Manager of the Orange County YMCA.
This past year, Tim has been co-chair of the fundraising tournament, “The Greatest Save” at SeaCliff Country Club in Huntington Beach, which is part of the KinderVision Foundation presented by Tiodize. “The Greatest Save”, is a prevention-focused program that teaches kids and teens how to recognize and avoid risks from predators.
All proceeds of The Greatest Save stay in the greater Huntington Beach area. The Greatest Save events have been held in central park, at the Duck-a-thon, and through baseball/safety clinics at Huntington Beach high school serving the needs of the Boys & Girls Clubs, Little League, area school and more.
On January 28th each golf group will have a once in a lifetime experience of golfing with a major league baseball legend. The evening is highlighted with the Hall of Fame Q&A. Past attendees include HOF members Goose Gossage, Harmon Killebrew, Brooks Robinson and more than thirty other current and retired players including Bobby Grich, Doug DeCinces, and Clyde Wright. Listen to them share stories from their careers as you bid on one of a kind silent and live auction items, secure autographs, and leave with a memory that will last a lifetime – while helping to keep Orange County kids safe from exploitation and abduction.
Live the dream, create a memory of a lifetime and support your local community.
The KinderVision Mission
KinderVision is a non-profit community service organization whose primary purpose is to teach children, teens and young adults personal safety education via a unique, pro-active multimedia program aimed at preventing abduction and sexual exploitation. Prevention through education has been the focus of KinderVision since 1991 and is accomplished using several methods including the KinderVision Safety Education DVDs (K.I.N.D.I., Little Red Said and Big League Interview), on-site KV Kids and TGS Events, comprehensive on-line elements such as “The Greatest Save” Safety Quiz, on-air safety messages, and classroom materials, all designed to be resources for families, law enforcement, schools and youth serving organizations. KinderVision is available in English and Spanish, is supported nationwide by law enforcement, and is funded solely through individual and corporate contributions.
